UOB Indonesia Rated AAA (idn)
Jakarta, 2 November 2011 – International rating agency PT Fitch Rating Indonesia has completed the rating process for UOB Indonesia for its outstanding performance. UOB Indonesia has received a long-term national rating of “AAA (idn)” with a stable outlook.
After completing the merger process in mid-2010, UOB Indonesia continues to improve itself to realize its vision as a Premiere Bank in Indonesia. Apart from continuing to improve its performance as a result of the synergy from the merger, the Bank also continues to improve the quality of service to its customers. From the operational side, the Bank is in the process of transformation by making system improvements as well as physical improvements to the Bank's branch offices throughout Indonesia. These physical improvements were carried out with the aim that all Bank customers wherever they are will have a consistent experience while enjoying the convenience and the ease of banking with UOB.
Everything the Bank does certainly costs a lot of money, but with commitment and hard work, the Bank is able to maintain its performance, thus earning recognition from Fitch.
President Director of UOB Indonesia Armand B. Arief said, “All of the success achieved by the Bank is the result of the transformation being carried out by UOB Indonesia, as well as the commitment and hard work of all UOB employees. In the future, this success will continue to be maintained and even increased. "
