Announcement of Information on Adjustments to Savings and Current Account Status Management
In line with the implementation of Financial Services Authority Regulation No 24 of 2025, we hereby inform you that there are adjustments to account status types for Savings and Current specifically for individual and non-individual customers implemented gradually at UOB Indonesia since 6 May 2026.
Here are the details of the adjustment:
The following are key considerations regarding the implementation of POJK No. 24 of 2025 regarding Account Management at Commercial Banks:
- Effective 6 May 2026, Savings and Current accounts with a zero balance for maximum 6 (six) consecutive months will be closed by the Bank. If this account is the primary account linked to a debit card, the card will be blocked and cannot be used.
- To keep your account active, please ensure that at least 1 (one) customer-initiated transaction (deposit, withdrawal, or checking balance) is conducted within 360 (three hundred sixty) calendar days.
- Reactivation of inactive and dormant accounts can be done through the UOB Contact Centre 14008 or by visiting the nearest UOB Indonesia branch
- Account closure for both individual and non-individual customers must be requested in person at the nearest UOB Indonesia branch.
Changes regarding the regulation is based on POJK No 24 of 2025 and has been adjusted on the General Terms and Conditions for Savings Account and Current Account which can be accessed here.
