Announcement of Information on Adjustments to Savings and Current Account Status Management
In line with the implementation of Financial Services Authority Regulation No 24 of 2025, we hereby inform you that there are adjustments to account status types for Savings and Current specifically for individual and non-individual customers implemented gradually at UOB Indonesia since 6 May 2026.
Here are the details of the adjustment:
Effective 6 May 2026, Savings and Checking accounts with a zero balance for maximum 6 (six) consecutive months will be automatically closed in accordance with applicable regulations. If the account is the primary account linked to a debit card, the associated debit card will be blocked and cannot be used.
To maintain your account’s active status, please ensure that at least 1 (one) customer-initiated transaction (deposit or withdrawal) is conducted within 360 (three hundred sixty) days. If your account is currently inactive, you may reactivate it by calling UOB Contact Centre 14008 or visiting your nearest UOB Indonesia branch.
Changes regarding the regulation is based on POJK No 24 of 2025 and has been adjusted on the General Terms and Conditions for Savings Account and Current Account which can be accessed here.
